OOOOkay... there are a few details here and I hope to keep them straight. These guys do barely measure 10 oz, but some of them just barely so I call them 8 oz.
The original bunch was done on brown clay, but I was not happy with the finish on some of them. As you can see there is a large amount of seconds. On these seconds, there is a tiny crack that is just superficial on the handle. I feel like the join is ugly enough to be called a second.
Since I was not happy with the join, I tried the white clay. This went much better. It doesn't have the lovely undertones of the brown clay, but they are just a pretty white color. I did not have the issue with the join on this mug. At this time there are no photos. I will send them to the next photo shoot, but the July 8 Live video stream on my website you will be able to see the difference.
On the 12 oz ones I was shooting for more of a latte mug. It is designed to fit under the latte machine, so it's wider rather than taller. One of the mugs measures 3.5" tall by 3.75" wide.
